"I received this recipe in my inbox from Copycatdotcom and decided to give it a try, over all the breading held on good I was quite please with how it turned out although the next time I make it I will add a few more spices and a pinch cayenne pepper, the original recipe was written with 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt I am submitting it the way I made it. There are no seconds listed on the cook time and one minutes would be way to long, these only take seconds to fry, hope you like it!"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Slice the cheese brick crossways to make triangles (I didn't make triangles I cut mine in stick shapes).

Step 2

Beat the eggs with water and set aside.

Step 3

Mix the bread crumbs, garlic powder, salt and Italian seasoning; set aside.

Step 4

Blend the flour with corn starch and set aside.

Step 5

Heat vegetable oil for deep frying to 360 degrees.

Step 6

Dip cheese in flour and corn starch blend, then in egg wash and coat with bread crumbs.

Step 7

Place carefully in hot oil and fry until golden; this takes just a few seconds so watch carefully. When golden, remove from hot oil and drain.

Serve with your favorite Italian spaghetti sauce and enjoy.
