Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 package (16 ounce) mozzarella cheese
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs (dry Italian seasoned)
  • 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dry Italian seasoning
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup corn starch

How to Make

  • Step 1: Slice the cheese brick crossways to make triangles (I didn't make triangles I cut mine in stick shapes).

  • Step 2: Beat the eggs with water and set aside.

  • Step 3: Mix the bread crumbs, garlic powder, salt and Italian seasoning; set aside.

  • Step 4: Blend the flour with corn starch and set aside.

  • Step 5: Heat vegetable oil for deep frying to 360 degrees.

  • Step 6: Dip cheese in flour and corn starch blend, then in egg wash and coat with bread crumbs.

  • Step 7: Place carefully in hot oil and fry until golden; this takes just a few seconds so watch carefully. When golden, remove from hot oil and drain.
