" These mushrooms look and taste so rich you won't believe that they really are quite reasonable for the waistline. This recipe was adapted from an original recipe by Sarah_Jane. They are great as a side dish for brunch, on a buffet, with a steak or a dozen other meals that want some MMmmm mushrooms on the side. You could even serve them over pasta! You may easily double the recipe."
Clean the mushrooms and thickly slice them.
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat
Stir in the garlic and saute 1 minute
Add mushrooms and fry until golden (apprx 6 minutes) medium heat
Mix mustard and cottage cheese add to the pan and cook until the cheese has melted and the sauce is a rich brown (3 to 5 minutes)
Ready to serve
