" Another do ahead appetizer - If you wish Hhave everything ready the day before then just fill them just before you serve them. You can fill them with room temperature chicken filling but I like to warm the filling. Very easy, quite impressive appetizeer. Be sure to allow time for your puff pastry to thaw. If you have left over cooked chicken chop that up instead of the canned (I prefer it)."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix all the ingredients, except the puff pastry, blend well, place in refrigerater covered

Step 2

Preheat oven to 350f

Step 3

Unfold the puff pastry, roll out the pastry to about 1/4 inch thickness, cut 1 1/2 inch rounds

Step 4

Place circles on a lighly gresed cookie sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes

Step 5

Cool slightly, cut in half, scoop out a bit if the soft pastry inside

Step 6

Have chicken mixture at room temperature or warmed, fill the puffs, put their hats back on and serve

Did not make the puff pastry, just put on dinner rolls. This is a very good chicken salad recipe! Only change I would make is add a little cayenne or hot sauce. Thanks for a good recipe!
