Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix all of the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Rub some of the dry ingredients mixture over the salmon and let sit for 10 minutes; reapply additional mixture as liquid is released from the salmon.

Step 2

Cook the salmon on high heat on an open flame grill to caramelize the rub.

Step 3

Grill 5 to 10 minutes depending on thickness and preference.

Wow, this recipe is full of flavour!!! I "grilled" this on a cast iron skillet in the oven at 425 degrees for 5 minutes per side. The sugar forms a nice light crust over the salmon. A great main dish for entertaining! Thanks for sharing this recipe here with us.
