Step 1: Mix all of the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Rub some of the dry ingredients mixture over the salmon and let sit for 10 minutes; reapply additional mixture as liquid is released from the salmon.
Step 2: Cook the salmon on high heat on an open flame grill to caramelize the rub.
Step 3: Grill 5 to 10 minutes depending on thickness and preference.
