Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ground fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons Splenda Brown sugar blend (or regular brown sugar if you like)
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 5 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 16 ounces salmon (4 salmon fillets about 4 ounces each)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix all of the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Rub some of the dry ingredients mixture over the salmon and let sit for 10 minutes; reapply additional mixture as liquid is released from the salmon.

  • Step 2: Cook the salmon on high heat on an open flame grill to caramelize the rub.

  • Step 3: Grill 5 to 10 minutes depending on thickness and preference.
