"Instead of the usual fresh basil, these tomatoes are made with fresh summer savory. If you cannot find fresh savory, fresh thyme works. Dried savory will work in a pinch (use 1/4 teaspoon). Cook time is marination time."

Great tasting tomatoes, Mikekey! Tasty over salad and as a side. Because I didn't have savory, decided to add a sprinkling of finely chopped fresh basil. Yum. Thank you, Mikekey, for sharing. Made it for Billboard Tag.

I used Roma tomatoes and dried basil, as I was not able to get fresh savory. This recipe really perked up winter tomatoes! Will be made many more times this year. Thank you for sharing!
