"I don't remember where I found this and I don't have cats. Be sure that your cat is an adventurous diner before you make these treats! ++No measurement given for broth because your using it to bring liquid up to needed measurement. I put a measurement there but you might need more or less.++ **Depending on how much your cat likes catnip you can add more or less. Some cats don't respond. Looks for catnip in pet stores.** Batch amount is not a typo. "

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2

Line a large cookie sheet with foil and set aside.

Step 3

Drain the tuna, RESERVING 1/4 cup liquid (if necessary add chicken broth or milk to make 1/4 up).

Step 4

In a small bowl, combine tuna, 1/4 cup liquid, oil, and catnip.

Step 5

In a medium bowl, combine all-purpose flour and whole wheat flour , stir in the tuna mixture and cheese until just combined.

Step 6

If necessary stir in UP TO 2 Tablespoons water to moisten dough.

Step 7

Using your hands form dough in to a ball.

Step 8

On a lightly floured surface, roll dough into a 1/8-inch thick rectangle, trim and discard the uneven edges from the dough.

Step 9

Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the rectangle into 1 1/2 inch square (bite-sized for cats).

Step 10

Place pieces on a prepared cookie sheet in a single layer.

Step 11

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until cookies are still somewshat soft.

Step 12

Cool completely on the cookie sheet. Make about 400 Kitty cookies.

Step 13

Place cookies in a resealable plastic bag. Store in fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 6 months.
