"I know this dip is awesome using crab, I have made it many times in the past, I just tested it using 1 pound cooked shrimp that I coarsely chopped in the processor I have to say it was great but not as good as the crab, make this as spicy as you like by adjusting the hot sauce I use lots! If you use canned crab make sure that you take the extra step and remove any hard shells that were left. Plan ahead the dip must be chilled for at least 6 or more hours before baking to blend the flavors"

This dip was a perfect choice to add to my holiday table this year. I used fresh crab and coarsely chopped in the food processor. I used just a few dashes of hot sauce so the kids would try it. Served with pita chips that I made, and it was LOVED by the adults and even some of the kids liked it!

Joni

I made it when I had company and it's a good thing I doubled it because there wasn't much left when we got done. I was glad there was a little left so I could have some to munch on the next night watching tv. I am going to bring it to my sisters for Thanksgiving. We love this so much!
