Step by Step Method

Step 1

Heat oven to 400F. Lightly coat a 10-inch pie plate with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 2

Sprinkle turkey, mushrooms, onions, salt and cheese in pie plate.

Step 3

Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high speed or 1 minute with hand beater.

Step 4

Pour into pie plate. Bake until golden brown and knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes clean, 30 to 35 minutes.

Step 5

Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.

This turkey pie is great -- I am also a fan of impossible pies and like usual I did use more cheese than stated and also a bit more mushrooms too. Very good dinner pie which we enjoyed. Thanks for sharing!

Made for your Wk 5 Football Pool win - I'm fond of the Bisquick "Impossible" genre of recipes, so this was a happy find for me. I used chicken as the recipe allowed & admit taking some liberties. I added a can of corn, used a lrg can of mushrooms, added extra cheese & then baked it in a 9x13 baking dish. I know "Impossible Pies" freeze well & my goal was a 2nd meal that would VERY generously serve 4 as we're having guests from Canada for 3 dys next wk. I'm ready for 1 meal now by just adding salad & dessert. Good stuff, Mike. Thx for posting the recipe & CONGRATS on your string of Football Pool wins. :-)
