"This is a tasty, easy to make appetizer. They are so good tasting and look very attractive too. They are finger food but may be served with a fork. If you can't get Serrano Spanish ham try some Tuscany or even Black forest. Allow another minute or two for the baking time. You want them warm right through but not bubbling hot."

Step 1
Mix together the cream cheese, feta cheese, basil and oregano
Step 2
Cut a small slit lengthwise in each of the dates
Step 3
Fill the slits with apprx 1 teaspoon of the cheese mixture
Step 4
Wrap each date with a half slice of ham
Step 5
Place on a baking sheet end of ham side down
Step 6
Bake in preheated 400f for about 5 minutes.
Step 7
The ham will start to turn golden and the cheese is melting slightly
Step 8
Serve warm
