Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 16 medjool dates
  • 1/4 cup reduced-fat cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil
  • 8 ham slices (serrano ham)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix together the cream cheese, feta cheese, basil and oregano

  • Step 2: Cut a small slit lengthwise in each of the dates

  • Step 3: Fill the slits with apprx 1 teaspoon of the cheese mixture

  • Step 4: Wrap each date with a half slice of ham

  • Step 5: Place on a baking sheet end of ham side down

  • Step 6: Bake in preheated 400f for about 5 minutes.

  • Step 7: The ham will start to turn golden and the cheese is melting slightly

  • Step 8: Serve warm
