Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first nine ingredients; add the pork. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.

Step 2

Drain and discard marinade(we save the marinade and baste the pork a couple of times during beginning of grilling, then discard and then finish grilling to sear in marinade).

Step 3

Moisten a paper towel with cooking oil; using long-handled tongs, lightly coat the grill rack. Grill pork, covered, over medium heat or broil 4-5 in. from the heat for 4-5 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 145°. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

We really enjoyed the pork chops prepared this way. I marinaded them for 24 hours. They were flavorful and tender. They grilled up beautifully. Thank you for sharing another wonderful recipe.d Made for CQ3 - Greece - Grill it Up Challenge.

Yum, so delicious! I was only able to marinate for 90 minutes but the pork chops still took on the flavors of the marinade. I cooked them over the flame then moved them to the other side of the grill finish cooking. Made for Culinary Quest 3

Great pork chops, Diner! The marinade is quite tasty. I marinaded the chops for 8 hours and they turned out perfect. This was my first attempt at grilling all by myself, and it was quite a success, if I should say so myself. I used rather thick chops, but even so they grilled up in less than 15 minutes. Thanks, Diner. Made for Culinary Quest 2016 (Greece).

These were seriously good Pork Chops!! I let them bathe in the marinade for 8 hours and the flavours were awesome. I used thinner bone-in chops because that is what was on hand. Thanks for what is probably my new favourite pork chop recipe! K9 Owned/Lesley
