"This recipe is half of the original recipe and comes from my mother, Constance Wagner. At the time Kraft put out a product called garlic cheese roll, which is no longer available, but I've found a recipe for a substitute (see below)."

Step 1
To make garlic cheese roll substitute, use ingredients listed separately above. Soften cheeses and mix all together well. Shape into four rolls and wrap well in foil or plastic wrap.

Add the milk, the garlic cheese substitute, the eggs, butter, salt and pepper to the cooked grits.

Mix together well and put in buttered casserole.

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika.

Bake at 300' F. for 30 minutes.
