"It's amazing how just three ingredients can taste so good, this sauce is delicious, and also can be used as a dipping sauce, I used drumsticks any pieces will do but you will need to adjust the cooking time, DO NOT use frozen thawed chicken for this"

I did skip the first step (browning in the skillet). I marinaded for about an hours and put these straight in the oven, and they came out brilliantly. I used drumsticks and followed the recipe other than missing step 1. Very tasty, sticky and so sweet & juicy. These had great flavours and not only looked delicious but tasted just as delicious. So simple and easy to make, a great recipe.
