"This recipe is so easy, the wings practically make themselves. The caramelized sweet and spicy sauce coats wings that are cooked perfectly and practically melt in your mouth. Can't go wrong with this one!"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Turn a 5 quart slow cooker on low, then add the sriracha sauce, butter, honey and lime juice. Stir well to combine. Add chicken wings. Stir until wings are well coated. Cook 3-4 hours on low or 1-2 hours on high.

Step 2

Line a baking pan with foil and coat with non-stick spray.

Step 3

Remove the wings from the slow cooker and place on the baking sheet. Drizzle sauce from slow cooker over wings.

NOTE: if you want a thicker sauce, place the sauce in a saucepan and cook for 5 mintues until thicker and slightly reduced. Brush the sauce on the wings before baking

Step 4

Turn oven to the broil setting. Place baking sheet in oven and bake for 2-3 minutes until the sauce starts to caramelize. Remove from oven and serve immediately.

We loved these hot...sweet...sticky...wings...I cut the recipe in half for the two of us...and there were leftovers which heated up well...I did reduce the sauce and brushed it over the wings...we enjoyed these for one of our appy nights...made for "WOTM" tag game...

We love sweet/hot, and these did not disappoint! They were juicy, fall of the bone wonderfulness that gave good warmth. Served it with Bergy's Curried Quinoa Salad which was the perfect cooling between wings. Thank you for sharing this delicious recipe Lori!
