Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 pounds chicken wing drumettes
  • 3/4 cup hot sauce (Huy Fong Sriracha sauce, the one with the rooster on the bottle)
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice (NOT from concentrate)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Turn a 5 quart slow cooker on low, then add the sriracha sauce, butter, honey and lime juice. Stir well to combine. Add chicken wings. Stir until wings are well coated. Cook 3-4 hours on low or 1-2 hours on high.

  • Step 2: Line a baking pan with foil and coat with non-stick spray.

  • Step 3: Remove the wings from the slow cooker and place on the baking sheet. Drizzle sauce from slow cooker over wings.

  • NOTE: if you want a thicker sauce, place the sauce in a saucepan and cook for 5 mintues until thicker and slightly reduced. Brush the sauce on the wings before baking

  • Step 4: Turn oven to the broil setting. Place baking sheet in oven and bake for 2-3 minutes until the sauce starts to caramelize. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
