Step by Step Method
Step 1
For the whitebait, combine the flour and chilli on a sheet of paper or in a plastic bag and coat the whitebait lightly.
Step 2
Heat the oil to hot and deep fry the whitebait in batches until they are golden brown and drain well.
Step 3
For the salad, combine the rest of the ingredients and mix together lightly.
Step 4
Serve a portion of the whitebait and a portion of the salad.(looks good if you pile the white bait on top of the salad).
