This was a fresh based salad where one ingredient doesn’t overdo the other. Loved the fresh basil and used red onion and scallions in place of the chives and cut down the mayo a bit. Ten stars! This was so, so good! The fresh basil really pops and makes for a very refreshing salad for a sweltering evening. I used canned corn because it was on hand, otherwise followed the recipe exactly. Maybe went a little light on the mayo, though. We had this as a side dish, and it could easily be a main meal salad if you added some grilled or boiled shrimp. This one's going in my Best of 2022 file, Dee! Thanks for sharing!
