"This originally came from Food.com (submitted by Theresa/Thunderbird), but I've added a couple of things and changed the amounts of everything but the peas, so I'm going to post it here. This is one of those salads that you wouldn't think would taste as good as it does, but it really is quite amazing. Cook time is for refrigeration, prep time assumes you do not have a sous chef to do your chopping and frying bacon."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Combine peas, diced cheeses, crumbled bacon, and onion in a large bowl.
Step 2
In a smaller bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, pepper and salt.
Step 3
Mix dressing into salad, stirring well to combine.
Step 4
Cover and refrigerate at least three hours before serving.
