Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a mixing bowl

Step 2

Marinate chicken wings with light soy sauce, cumin powder, salt, and chili powder.

Step 3

Cover with a saran wrap and put in the fridge overnight.(stir a couple times)

Step 4

Remove from fridge

Step 5

Mix with sesame seeds, and let the wings return to room temperature.

Step 6

Preheat oven to 200 Celsius,(400 degrees F) line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Step 7

Place chicken wings on the lined tray, and bake for 15 minutes.

Step 8

Flip the wings, and bake again for 10 minutes.

Step 9

Flip the wings one more time, and bake until golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.

We loved these crispy was the perfect amount for the two of us...they had a nice mixture of spiciness...served them for one of our appy nights...thanks for sharing your recipe...

I did 5 V wings cut at the joint (no tip on them) with a weight of just over 1 1/2 lbs and used full recipe and they were plenty hot so if you don't like spice or heat cut back on the chilli and cumin (it came over rather strong) but even the DH gave them and try (though he removed the skin so did not get the heat or full flavour of the wings but enjoyed which is unusual as he on the norm will not eat wings). I thoroughly enjoyed such an easy delicious recipe thank you Dee made for For Your Consideration tag game at FF&F.
