I made only half the quantity of this recipe as I only needed enough for 3 of us. I did not use as much garlic or lemon juice as listed, and I also cheated and used the microwave. I used this sauce for pouring over the broccoli, which was a side to our roast ~ but soon realised I should have made the full quantity listed as the 3 who wanted sauce poured it over everything! I did not think we would like the garlic in this sauce, but we really did, not overpowering and really just a nice subtle flavour. I think the lemon juice complimented the broccoli really well, but with some vegies I think I would leave it out, as the lemon would not compliment some vegetables as well the broccoli.... All that said, those of us that had it, really loved this sauce and I will be making it again, so quick and easy ~ A wonderful cheesy sauce to compliment any vegetable.
