"Have just been able to get my hands on pre-sliced Monterey Jack and American cheese so have come up with this idea for grilled/pan fried cheese sandwich with a Sizzler restaurant twist to it."
Butter one side of each slice of brad and add the add the 2 slices of cheese to make a sandwich.
In a preheated pan on medium heat grill one side and on the top of the other sprinkle with the parmesan cheese and when the bottom slice is golden flip and cook the parmesan side until golden.
Serve and enjoy, great with soup I would think.

OMG!! You hit a home run with this recipe for grilled cheese sandwich!! I made this as written, with the exception of using shredded Monterey Jack cheese, all I can find here. I loved the combo of the American and Monterey cheeses, but the real kicker is combining the Parmesan cheese with the butter when toasting/frying the outsides of the sandwich, nice nutty flavor. This is my new favorite grilled cheese sandwich!! Thanks so much for sharing it. Made for "FYC" tag game.
