What a nice change of pace to a regular ole grilled cheese. The apple is a lovely addition and adds that extra layer of flavor. Thumbs up from my gang! Thank you, ellie, for sharing. Made it for Billboard Tag game: and "For your Consideration" Tag game:

Just loved the gooey cheese with the crisp apple and the Dijon mustard. The only change I made was I made it in a sandwich press which has flat plates instead of ridged ones of Panini and I didn't need to use the oil. Thank you ellie for a great lunch, made for Alphabet Soup Game.
