Mine were a bit undercooked (my fault) and didn't mash very well, but they were tender enough to be delicious! I really liked the addition of the nutmeg. Tagged for Billboard game.

My grandmother always added nutmeg to her buttered carrots, and I always loved them that way, so having turnip added to it is a bonus! Delicious and easy.
