"Who doesn't like a grilled cheese sandwich? Anyone? Anyone? I didn't think so. ... What's easier to make than a grilled cheese sandwich? Not much! ... When you add avocado to a grilled cheese sandwich, who can resist the combo? Definitely NOT ME! -- I take no credit for this all-occasion recipe. It was found at realsimpledotcom & looked too good not to share AND add to my "Avocado Collection"cookbook. Step by Step Method
Step 1
Melt the butter in a sml skillet over med-low heat.
Step 2
Form a sandwich w/the bread, cheese, onion & avocado.
Step 3
Cook the sandwich (covered) until the bread is toasted & the cheese is melted (2-3 min per side).
Step 4
BOTTOM LINE: Use your favorite method. We've all been able to make grilled cheese sandwiches for a long time.
