Step 1

Brush of inside of the pitas with olive oil and sprinkle with spice.

Step 2

Put the cheese slice on top of the pitas; add optional ingredients if desired. Roll up the pita to enclose the cheese.

Step 3

Heat a panini press until hot.

Step 4

Add sandwiches, closs panini press. Cook for 2-4 minutes or until bread is crisp and golden.

Really good, I did put the avocado in after, so it would not be cooked (personal preference). Definitely could be served for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Very enjoyable breakfast sandwich. I really liked the zataar with the olive oil on the pita bread. I added all the toppings; next time I will add the avocado after I grill the sandwich, I like it better cold. My daughter added some garlic salt to hers and it was delicious.

I made two of these one for the DM and one for myself for lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed. I put all the options in mine and did not put the spinach in the DDM's. Thank you ellie, made for Billboard Recipe tag game.
