"Here is a quick weeknight dinner I like to serve with cooked vegetables. I have used Panko bread crumbs instead of regular and it makes this a bit crunchier. Both are nice."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

In shallow dish, mix the flour, thyme, garlic powder, celery salt and pepper together.

Step 2

In a separate dish, whisk together egg and water

Step 3

Dredge chops in flour mixture.

Step 4

Soak in egg mixture.

Step 5

Dredge in bread crumbs.

Step 6

Heat oil on medium-high in frying pan and cook dredged pork chops until golden brown, about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on thickness of chops.

The chops came out nice and tender with a delicious crispy crust...I used Italian bread crumbs and bone in thin chops...made for "FYC" tag game...such a quick and easy recipe...it will be made again...thanks for sharing your recipe...

I made one pork loin bone in chop but did the full crumb recipe using to crumb some sliced chicken breast meat for the hubby which he enjoyed while I very much enjoyed my chop. Thank you Bea, made for For Your Consideration tag game at FF&F.

These were so good. I used panko bread crumbs, because I love them. These are really good tasting chops and I really enjoyed them with mashed potatoes, stuffing, chunky cinnamon applesauce and coleslaw. This won't be the last time I make them! Thanks for sharing Bea. Linda
