"A great tasting chicken breast recipe I came up with when my hubby said he wanted spicy chicken. He really enjoys the white meat and I find it dry. But, I saw a chicken breast recipe a while back that said mayonnaise tenderized chicken breast so I based this recipe on that recommendation. Just the right amount of heat for us and the chicken was nice and tender and juicy. For those who don't have access to Frank's RedHot Sauce, I do have a copycat recipe for it #recipe13676 . If gluten intolerant make sure you are using gluten free soy sauce."

Step 1

Place the hot sauce, mayonnaise, soy sauce, oil, oregano, hot pepper flakes and garlic in a large re-sealable plastic bag and swish to mix well.

Step 2

Poke the chicken a few times with a fork to pierce the meat and add to the marinade; swish again to coat.

Step 3

Refrigerate for 6 to 8 hours, swish the sauce around the chicken every couple of hours or so.

Step 4

Pour the contents of the bag on a rimmed baking dish that has been coated with non-stick spray.

Step 5

Bake in a pre-heated 375 degree Fahrenheit oven, uncovered, until cooked through and no longer pink, about 1 hour. (If sauce begins to stick, add a bit of water)

Step 6

Enjoy!

We loved this chicken! I'm going to put the recipe into my best of 2016 file. I usually make my chicken wing recipe with Frank's hot sauce and butter, so I knew I would like the flavor of your recipe. The chicken is so flavorful and tender, with just the right amount of spice. Thank you! P.S. I subbed chicken thighs for the chicken breasts.

Made this the other night for us but made some changes so no photos. I used boneless chicken breasts from "Omaha Steak", only 2 so I cut the recipe back. I used tabasco in place of "Frank's " ( don't keep that in the house ). I also broiled it, humm guess I did not make this recipe, but close Lol! The wife and I both loved it, she said give it five stars oe more!

Delicious! The chicken came out juicy and flavorful. I made it using QueenBea's "Frank's RedHot Sauce Copycat" which is also fabulous.
