Banana & Chocolate Chip Rock Cakes

Preheat oven to 180C/160C fan forced.
Line 2 oven trays with baking paper.
Using an electric mixer beat butter and sugar in a bowl until pale and creamy and then add essence and then eggs, one by one, beating well after each addition.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and stir flour mixture into butter mixture and then add banana and chocolate and stir to combine.
Place 16 heaped tablespoons of cookie dough onto prepared trays, about 5cm apart, to allow for spreading.
Bake for 10 minutes or until golden.
Cool on trays till cookies are firm.
