Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
Toss the ziti with 1 cup marinara in 9 x9 inch casserole. Pour in 1/2 c sauce on bottom.
Step 3
Mix egg in ricotta cheese.
Step 4
Place 1/2 ziti in the dish.
Step 5
Dot with ricotta, then sprinkle 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
Step 6
Add 1 cup sauce.
Step 7
Add a layer of mozzarella — should be roughly half.
Step 8
Top with the rest of the ziti rest of sauce and then the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan . Bake for 45 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.
