Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cook bacon and remove from pan.
Step 2
Add onions and cook until translucent.
Step 3
Add garlic, tomato, broth and herbs.
Step 4
Simmer until thickened 30 minutes.
Step 5
Season to taste.
Step 6
Use stick blender to make smooth; add softened cream cheese stir until blended and piping hot.
Step 7
Put in bowl sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
Step 8
Dot with bacon crumbles and fresh parsley.
