Step 1: Cook bacon and remove from pan.
Step 2: Add onions and cook until translucent.
Step 3: Add garlic, tomato, broth and herbs.
Step 4: Simmer until thickened 30 minutes.
Step 5: Season to taste.
Step 6: Use stick blender to make smooth; add softened cream cheese stir until blended and piping hot.
Step 7: Put in bowl sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
Step 8: Dot with bacon crumbles and fresh parsley.
