  • 1 clove garlic, smashed
  • 28 ounces crushed tomatoes (1 can)
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • Topping
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, minced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook bacon and remove from pan.

  • Step 2: Add onions and cook until translucent.

  • Step 3: Add garlic, tomato, broth and herbs.

  • Step 6: Use stick blender to make smooth; add softened cream cheese stir until blended and piping hot.

  • Step 7: Put in bowl sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
