"I love bacon and cheese so I thought " Why not combine the two ? ". So I did and they turned out better than I expected. Cooking time doesn't include cooking of the bacon. Posted to " ZAZZ " on 2/5/15. " Keep Smiling :) ""

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven top 400 degrees.
Step 2
Double sift together all dry ingredients(double sifting is most important)
Step 3
Cut shortening into dry ingredients,until it looks like crumbly cornbread or small peas.
Step 4
Add milk just until a dough ball is formed(you might have to add a bit more flour or milk to get the right texture.
Step 5
Then mix in bacon and cheese,being careful not to over work dough.
Step 6
On a floured counter or board,knead for about 1 to 2 minutes.
Step 7
Pat dough to a 1/3 inch thickness and cut 4 biscuits with a floured biscuit cutter.
Step 8
Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet(I used greased parchment paper for easier clean up.)and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
