I've heard of avocado toast but never tried it...until now. Wow. What an amazing combination. I love all of the ingredients and the avocado was so buttery tasting made this way. I put it on homemade beer bread, toasted. Fabulous combination and will make again.

Can you say "favorite"! This recipe is a winner concept and a great way to enjoy breakfast or lunch. We had it for lunch and we surely enjoyed the combination. One of my daughters who enjoys avocado as much as I do said "you've gotta make this again, mom!". Thank you ImPat for sharing such a lovely.

TwisSis RIP Forever in our Kitchen

Made for the FF&F Best of 2015 Tag Game as a fave of Nancy’s Pantry – I confess I tagged this recipe on impulse because it intrigued me & I had all the ingredients on-hand since they are among my personal faves to use as often as I can. I prepared it as written & as a breakfast for 2 & served the Steeves Canadian Maple Syrup on-the-side to allow for my skeptic DH to use it as desired since he is known to be a bit of a purist. My instincts were right as I adored the combo. He tasted it willingly, but preferred it w/o the syrup. You will see this recipe listed on my Best of 2016 faves. Thx for sharing it w/us.

Daily Inspiration

This is my second time to make this delicious avocado-bacon toast. We a bsolutely love it -- what's not to love? Avocado and bacon are a marriage made in Heaven and the maple syrup really takes it to another level. Nancy : )
