Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place chicken in kettle with water.

Step 2

Cover and cook over medium to low heat until tender (about 3 hours).

Step 3

Remove chicken from kettle and strain broth.

Step 4

Debone chicken and return to kettle with strained broth.

Step 5

Add broth ,celery, carrots, apple, onions, and pepper and cook until vegetables are tender.

Step 6

Add noodles and cook 8-10 minutes until floating

This was very good. Had left over rotisserie chicken which I used in the making, didn't have the frozen egg noodles but the dry worked well for me. The apple was an added touch. Enjoyed!
