Step 1: Place chicken in kettle with water.
Step 2: Cover and cook over medium to low heat until tender (about 3 hours).
Step 3: Remove chicken from kettle and strain broth.
Step 4: Debone chicken and return to kettle with strained broth.
Step 5: Add broth ,celery, carrots, apple, onions, and pepper and cook until vegetables are tender.
Step 6: Add noodles and cook 8-10 minutes until floating
