The 2013 RecipeZazz Cinco de Mayo Photothon and Cookathon

Hola!
Bienvidos, senors y senoritas!
This year, RecipeZazz will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo with the first annual
Cinco de Mayo Cookathon & Photothon.
My name is Sue and I will be the guest host for this event.
What exactly is a "cookathon and photothon"?
Well, amigo, a cookathon/photothon is an event where we all come together as a group and cook at the same time (or over the same few days) all across the world. In this case, we will be planning and cooking and photographing Mexican themed recipes from RecipeZazz to commemorate the Mexican army's 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War (1861-1867).
For this event, the cooking dates will be for Friday May 3rd through Monday May 6th, to give everyone plenty of time to prepare their Mexican foods.
How do I participate?
To participate, simply go through the Recipezazz database and select whichever recipes appeal to you to prepare for this Mexican holiday. The recipes don't necessarily have to say they are Mexican cuisine to qualify, but just be ones you will be having for your Cinco de Mayo dinner.
After you select your recipes, come back to the event thread and let everyone know which ones you will be making.
Having photos on them already does not matter. Having reviews or not does not matter. It's all up to you. Just be nice and don't tag your own recipes.
After you make your choices, you can then prepare them over the Cinco de Mayo weekend, photograph them and post your review.
You have until May 15th to post your reviews and photos to the recipe, so it gives you plenty of time to think about your review and also get your photos edited, etc.
How can I promote my mexican recipes for this event?
For the duration of the event, make a recipebook with all the recipes you think people may be interested in for Cinco de mayo Then come to the event thread and post a link to that recipebook. You can add new recipes beforehand and during the course of the event as they publish, just add them to your recipebook so they can be easily found.
What if I don't have any Mexican recipes posted? Can I still play?
Of course! Since we won't be tagging each other back to back, you don't need Mexican recipes posted. You can just choose what you like to cook from any member's Mexican recipebook or the RecipeZazz database.
But if you would like to post some of your Mexican recipes here at Zazz, please do so! RecipeZazz likes new recipes!

I think that's all the info you need- if you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask.
Also, if you have questions regarding Mexican cuisine that you need answered for this event, feel free to ask and someone will probably know about it and help you.
You may sign up, upload new Mexican recipes, post links to your Mexican recipebooks and state which recipes you would like to tag for the event from now through the end of the event.
Please just wait to cook, post reviews and photos until at least Friday, May 3rd. ~Gracias!
