Step by Step Method

Step 1

Soak the seaweed in a large bowl of water for 10 minutes.

Step 2

Drain well and set aside.

Step 3

Whisk together the remaining ingredients in a large bowl and stir in the drained seaweed.

Step 4

Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour before using.

Yummy....Used regular dried seaweed, because in the Asian market, they didn't have any labeled "Wakame". Once soaked, the seaweed was chopped into strands, for easier eating. Goes great with an Asian meal and I want to try to dry it further in the oven to see how it turns out. I did add additional garlic and a touch more of the other ingredients to suit our tastes. Good stuff, Bea!

I love this salad. I always get it when I go out for sushi. Now I can save a fortune and eat it at home. Great recipe. Looking forward to the leftovers tonight.
