Step 1

Heat oil in wok. Add garlic (if you like can add more and chilies).

Add onion and bell pepper.

This was so tasty! I especially loved the green beans and red bell pepper additions. The sauce was really good. I didn't add the chicken since I was using this as a side dish. Thanks!

I think this is the best thing I've eaten all year! Definitely going into my Best of 2022 file for Food, Friends & Fun! The Asian store was closed today, so had to use regular green beans and basil. Even so, this is delicious. I originally only added about 3/4 of the sauce because I thought it would be overwhelming, but it wasn't -- it needs the whole thing. The nuance of all the flavors was phenomenal. I used some leftover rotisserie chicken and doubled up on the basil. Dee, this is something I'll be making again and again. I really love that, except for the beans and Thai basil, it uses only regular pantry ingredients. Thanks for sharing!
