Step 1

In a small saucepan, combine the first nine ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke if desired; heat through. Discard lemon.

Step 2

Meanwhile, in a large skillet, brown pork chops in oil in batches. Transfer to a 13x9-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray; pour sauce over chops.

Step 3

Cover and bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes or until a thermometer reads 160°F.

Terrific pork chops Teresa. We enjoyed them prepared this way very much. They were moist, tender and delicious. The bbq sauce was lovely. Thanks so much for sharing another winner. Made FYC tag game.

Yum. I only made a single pork chop but made all of the sauce. I loved the sauce so much that I almost finished it all off by putting some on my dressing as well. lol. Thanks for sharing this nice keeper, Teresa.
