"This is great for making vinaigrette or wathever else calls for strawberry vinegar. I make big batches of this at a time as it keeps for a very long time."

Step 1

Place all the ingredients in a large re-sealable plastic bag and refrigerate for 3 days.

Step 2

Strain the juices through a fine sieve into a large container.

Step 3

Pour into an airtight container and store in a cool dark place until ready to use. I keep mine in mason jars.

Step 4

Discard strained strawberries.

So very good to use for salad dressing to top my salad. I will use this for lots of things. Just need to put my thinking cap on!

I will find many uses for this vinegar. My first experiment will be to make a glaze with it for pork. I hope it works! The vinegar will be great to have on hand. You can really taste the strawberry in it which will be lovely on salads, possibly in desserts and on meat and seafood.

I made this to have so I can use it as needed on salads. Since making it and tasting it, I can see that I will be using it other ways too, and I can't wait to experiment. I will make it again.
