Step 1

Heat oil in saucepan

Step 2

Add rice cook until opaque

Step 3

Add spices, water and peas

Step 4

Cover, then simmer for 20 minutes . Remove from heat

Toast pine nuts in the oil (don't burn)

Step 6

Fluff rice. Top with nuts

Spices are very subtle, but delicious. I cut recipe in half in it was enough for 4 as a side. Wouldn't change a thing.

Yum. I really enjoyed this rice. It was easy to make and the spice flavors were great together. I also really liked the pine nuts.......they added a nice crunch. Thanks for sharing, Dee.
