"This is a recipe that has always been offered at family gatherings, like Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'll always associate it with my maternal grandmother "Grannie", although I don't know if this is her recipe or her mothers. This is a "sweet" spiced pecan. Yield 5 cups"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Beat egg white and water at high speed of an electric mixer until foamy. Add the pecan halves, stirring to coat well.
Step 2
Combine the sugar, cinnamon, and salt; sprinkle over the pecans, stirring to coat well.
Step 3
Spread in a single layer on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 225 degrees for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Cool completely on the baking sheet. Store in an airtight container.
