Step by Step Method

Step 1

Combine the chicken, diced dill pickles, and green onion in a bowl.

Step 2

In a separate bowl combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, dill pickle juice, dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add a little extra pickle juice or mayo if it doesn't seem creamy enough.

Step 3

Pour over the chicken salad and gently fold together until well combined.

Step 4

Chill before serving.

Step 5

Serve with croissants, rolls, or lettuce leaves.

Step 6

Covered left overs will last for about 3 days.

Very tasty...I made a sandwich for the hubby and served mine over lettuce...I cut the recipe down to 2 serving and I have a bit leftover to put on some crackers...yum...the hubby loved the pickle taste in his (tuna) sandwich...I guess he thinks tuna and chicken taste the same...what I found interesting was that the dill flavor wasn't overpowering...just a nice touch of it...made for "FYC" tag game...
