Step 1

Put tomato slices overlapping on a low sided glass dish

Step 2

Put marinade ingredients in a jar with a lid and shake to blend, save a few bits of green onion for garnishing.

Step 3

Pour marinade evenly over tomatoes; sprinkle saved green onion bits over and cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour befor serving.

Delicious! I used a large beef steak tomato, prepared it 3 hours before dinner and let it marinate in the fridge. Next time I will use white balsamic vinegar. I used fresh Greek Basil. All I can say is it sure was a great addition to a burger dinner Thanks Derf for yet another keeper recipe
