"Now I just put all together in electric skillet and cooked it alot faster and easier this tastes chickeny and was in ALOT of the 1960s cookbooks so alot of people made this one . They used more celery"

Step 1

Brown sausage

Step 2

Remove sausage.

Step 3

Into pan drippings

Step 4

Put chopped celery, onion and green pepper

Cook until celery is tender.

Set aside.(this is where I combined everything and let it simmer)

Boil water; add soup mix and rice.

Cook 7 minutes.

Combine all ingredients.

Place in large casserole.

Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 60 minutes
