Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F.
Step 2
Cook bacon in skillet until crisp.

Remove from drippings and set aside.
Step 4
Saute the onions in the bacon drippings until lightly browned.

Stir the sauerkraut into the drippings and onion and add the apples.
Step 6
Pour in the wine and stock and bake for 30 minutes.
Step 7
Crumble the bacon and add the sugar and celery seed.
Step 8
Bake for another half hour and serve.
