"Apple Pie with a delicious crunchy Apple Crisp topping, that is so good you can eat the whole pie yourself. If you don't believe me, make it and see what I mean! Macintosh and Cortland apples are great to use together for this pie. Don't forget, you can substitute no sugar substitute such as Splenda and Brown Sugar Twin, for those watching their weight or those that are diabetic. Can also substitute butter for margarine. Love to see your photos when you make it and read your review of my favorite apple pie!"

This is my mom's recipe and I just made it for the first time. It came out great and the pie is now gone! Guess I should have made two. So yummy! We like a little ice cream with ours.

This is a fantastic pie and it couldn't have been better. We had big scoops of ice-cream with it for the best dessert ever!

Amazing pie! Had to double this recipe to have enough for the family. It went fast because it was so delicious. I served ice cream on the side. Mmmmm!

Yummy! This pie takes basic ingredients to make and results in a delicious pie with minimal time and effort, especially if you buy the crust. It was a big hit and part of our smorgasbord of desserts for Thanksgiving. Plan to make it again for Christmas!

Got some delicious looking apples just to make this, and thrilled that I did. Much better than using pie crust on top and even more delicious! Company threw many compliments my way so it's a keeper!
